Special Offerings

Satisfaction   Mike Anderson and Jim Frederick want to personally guarantee that you will be completely satisfied with our services. If there is anything that you are not satisfied with, please draw it to our attention immediately.

Pre-planned Funerals We have two full time prearrangement counselors on staff, who are licensed with the State of Michigan to help prearrange your funeral or memorial service.

After Care We have two Family Service Advisors working with our After Care Program who will meet with your family after the funeral to see how they are coping, and affirm that all the family’s needs were met during their time with us.

Monuments We can assist you in designing an everlasting cemetery marker or monument that will be a special tribute for yourself or your loved one.

Paperwork Our office staff is available to assist you in filling out and filing insurance claim forms or other necessary paperwork. We have two notary publics on staff.

Lounge Café Area Each of our funeral homes offer a visitors lounge. We also allow you the convenience to enjoy snacks and meals in this area. Catering is available at an additional cost.

Children’s Toy Room We feel it is important for our families to feel comfortable in bringing their children to the funeral home. We offer a toy room for the children to use while they are here for visitations and funerals.

Greeters/Service Hosts Our greeters will be present throughout your visitation and service to open doors, greet your guests and attend to all your needs.

Grief Support We refer families to grief support groups or for individual counseling sessions.

Internet Guest Book Our website offers family and friends who are unable to attend the service an opportunity to express their condolences and share memories with your family.

Children’s Star Class The Star Class provides answers to questions, like – what is a funeral anyway? In this class, we will answer questions about death and give children a chance to write a message to their loved one on star shaped paper. Questions about death will lead to some of the most difficult and emotional moments parents can face. Educating the youngest generation of your family about death will change their view of life.

Dove Release Program The White Dove with its strong religious meaning can be a moving part of any service. Studies show that it is part of the human condition to look down when we are sad, limiting light to our eyes, and this affects how we feel. When a dove is released, everyone follows the dove as it ascends, flooding the eye with the sun’s bright light. The light to our eyes provides us with the gentle light therapy which has the ability to improve the way we feel.

Video Tribute “A picture says a thousand words.” Pictures can tell a life story. Using photos provided by you and your family, we produce a video program accompanied by music that spans the life of your loved one.

Limousine Chauffeured state car seating 8 people for transportation from the family home to the service and concluding at the luncheon is available at an additional cost.
